Scott Smith has served in the Worship Arts Ministry for over 15 years.
Beginning in ministry at the age of 11, Scott along with his family, started their ministry as missionaries to the Native Americans throughout the US and Canada, and at age 15, along with his family, traveled full time representing the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination's "Home Missions".
He traveled for three years with evangelist Lowell Lundstrom as a musician and vocalist. Throughout the later 80s he had the privilege of playing bass guitar with the Phoenix First Assembly choir and orchestra with Pastor Tommy Barnett. In 1989, Scott moved to Southern California and started his journey as a worship leader. His first leadership position was with the Eagles Nest Ministries in Irvine, CA with Pastor Gary Greenwald, where he served for 8 years. During those years, Scott developed his writing ability by purchasing a recording system, which developed into a 32 track digital recording studio. He is a published songwriter. Scott and his family moved to Virginia and served as Worship and Arts Pastor for 4 years at Bethel Temple in Hampton, Virginia, with Pastor Ron Johnson, and continued his writing and producing of CDs.
In 2001, Scott moved back to California and served for two years at Echos of Faith World Outreach Center in Ontario, CA with Pastor Jim Willoughby.
Scott has had many great opportunities to lead worship for ministries such as Dr. Ed Cole, Tim Storey's "Hollywood Bible Study", and the 50th Anniversary of the Full Gospel Business Men International.
He has had the opportunity to play bass guitar with worship leaders such as Alvin Slaughter, Darlene Zschech, Benny Hinn Ministries, Tim Miner and others.
He has been a representative for 12 years with Lamar Boschman and the "World Institute" in Dallas, TX. He also has traveled with the Worship Institute to countries such as Greece, Singapore, Indonesia, and Argentina leading worship and teaching seminars.
Scott also plays guitar and keyboard.
